Mobile's Singing Children www.mobilesingingchildren.org is a community-based choral organization for boys and girls, 3rd - 8th grades and for youth in grades 9 - 12. A part of Mobile Opera's educational programs, MSC offers a year-round program for children who love to sing and perform.Theatre
Several local theater groups are active in the community, some with their own theater homes. The Mobile Theatre Guild, a smaller company presenting off-Broadway and other productions, has won acclaim at several international competitions. The Joe Jefferson Players (. www.jjp.net ) is Alabama’s oldest dramatic company and offers large-scale musicals and dramas. The Pixie Players perform at the Playhouse in the Park. www.mobilesaenger.com is an ornate, 1,900-seat theater. In addition to being home to the Mobile Jazz Festival and the Mobile Symphony, the Saenger has its own performing arts series featuring Broadway shows and musical groups.

Mobile Chamber Music Society
Bernheim Hall, in the main branch of the Mobile Public Library, offers a more intimate setting for performances and lectures. Alabama Contemporary Dance Company
Alabama Contemporary Dance Company, formerly Parapluie Dance Company, provides local dancers the means to further their training through performance.
