There are more than 66 parks and playgrounds in the Mobile area offering facilities for picnics, canoeing, biking, hiking, camping and other leisure activities.
Cooper Riverside Park, adjacent to the Arthur R. Outlaw Mobile Convention Center, is a waterfront oasis in the heart of downtown. The park offers a spectacular vantage point for watching the ship traffic in Mobile’s busy port.
Langan Park is a 720-acre municipal park, which offers golf, tennis, outdoor concerts, a children’s playground and picnic areas. It is also home to the Mobile Museum of Art, Mobile Botanical Gardens and Playhouse in the Park.

Spanish Plaza sits adjacent to the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and Mobile Civic Center. Memorial Park, bordered by two of the city’s main thoroughfares, honors those who defended our country in times of war.

Washington Square & British Park
Many neighborhoods nestle parks within their confines. Two such parks are Washington Square, located in the Oakleigh Garden District, and British Park, in the East Church Street District. Both are surrounded by restored 19th century residences.Fairhope Pier Park
Baldwin County is home to many beautiful waterfront parks. The Fairhope Pier Park www.cofairhope.com features a 1,450-foot fishing and recreational pier as well as over half a mile of sandy beach. The pier has become a gathering place to watch the fabulous sunsets over Mobile Bay, and the surrounding park is the location of Earth Day celebrations.
