About Mobile
The Mobile Bay area is located in Southwest Alabama at the head of Mobile Bay. The region includes Mobile and Baldwin counties and covers an area of 2,829 square miles. The city of Mobile is the dominant urban area. The region offers an abundance of cultural and recreational opportunities for people of all ages – a variety of museums, theater, symphony, opera, ballet, fishing, golfing, relaxing at the beach, and much more.
